AA-Drink will be the new sponsor for Leontien.nl. Leontien van Moorsel-Zijlaard revealed the news herself in the Dutch talkshow of Pauw & Witteman. Delegations of the team can now be seen year round on the road, track and field.

The new aspect is that both the men's- and women's teams have received equal contracts for 2011. That's a real breakthrough and unique in women cycling, as their team members can now live the 'full-pro-life'.

Michael Zijlaard will stay on as team manager, while Leontien herself will assume more of a coaching role. Amongst others, new addition Marlen Johrend (Noris Cycling), Monique Van Der Ree, Lucinda Brand and Chantal Blaak have already signed for the team in 2011. Blaak and Marijn de Vries were also present in the studio, the latter - a freelance journalist - will now have to reduce the amount of work she currently does for the successful Dutch sports TV-program Holland Sport.
