QuickStep on the road with 'newbees'

The Belgian based QuickStep team will be traveling to Australia in January to ride the Santos Tour Down Under. According to the race's press service, Francesco Chicchi will have to lead the (sprint)team for the 'Flemish'.Chicchi is one of the four new members of the squad, coming over from Liquigas, and will be accompanied by Julien Vermote, Marco Bandiera and second sprint-option Gerald Ciolek. The rest of the team Down Under consists of 'stayers' Addy Engels, Davide Malacarne and Francesco Reda. Chicchi won a stage in the 2009 edition of the race, he'll run into much more competition this time with Greipel, Farrar and Cavendish at the start.
