Slowly but surely the transfer market is being saturated. Most riders have found 'a roof over their heads', although some decisions still have to be made. Amongst others, Franco Pellizotti's choice hasn't been made yet, probably fed by the possible appeal by the UCI at the CAS tribunal after the equittal by CONI earlier this month. The UCI is about to release the lists of both the ProTour- and ProContinental teams today.

Today's news is that Aussie Michael Rogers, ex triple World Champion ITT, signs a two-year deal with Team Sky. The transition to Sky had been rumoured for a month or so, but Rogers was obligated to his HTC-Columbia contract and couldn't get the news out sooner. His most important victory last year came in the Tour Of California, after a tough battle with Levi Leipheimer.

The agency for Gabriela Slámová revealed yesterday that the talented Czech rider will remain at Vienne Futuroscope for another year. This year the 19-year-old came in second in the Vienne Classic Féminin and she was 6th in the final GC of the Tour de Bourgogne. She was also a bronze medallist at the National Time Trial Championships.

Former Cuban and now American Ivan Dominguez will quit the sport. He started his career at Saturn Cycling in 2002 and developed into a good sprinter, mostly on American soil. His last big victory dates back to the Tour de Georgia 2008, where he won the first stage and called himself race-leader for two days.

Stuart O'Grady will ride his 17th professional year at the new Luxembourg based squad. He hopes to be a good road-captain and he'll try and help Andy Schleck to his first win in the Tour de France 2011. Stuey's last big victory came in spring 2007, when he won the Paris-Roubaix monument.
