Atravesaba su mejor momento, cuando un positivo le cortó las alas y borró de su palmarés su cuarta Vuelta a España. En septiembre de 2007 cumplió su sanción, y Roberto Heras (Béjar, 1974) se muestra ilusionado por volver a correr, afable, sonriente y con un marcado acento catalán.
