With his 2014 season subsequently brought forward by a month he is now back training with renewed vigour, with an Ardennes Classic and a rainbow jersey standing as the remaining red rags to his bullish motivation. Gerrans has also been buoyed in recent weeks by the announcement that Orica GreenEdge have signed Simon and Adam Yates, Esteban Chaves and Caleb Ewan.
