Rigoberto Urán llega a la Vuelta a España con la misión de entregarse a fondo, de darlo todo en busca de una excelente figuración. Llega a la ronda ibérica en buenas condiciones, sin ningún problema, con la moral en alto. Su excelente actuación en el Giro no quiere decir que hará la Vuelta con tranquilidad, sin objetivos.
