En 2012, a tan sólo 22 años, se ganó el GP Camaiore, una etapa en la Vuelta a Burgos y fue tercero en la GC. También ganó el Tour de l’Avenir en sólo 21!
Miró fija para tener un brillante 2013, pero una mala caída en febrero en Trofeo Laigueglia, puso fin a su temporada. A pesar de esto Orica GreenEDGE se apresuraron a firmar él hasta por 2 años.
